1. The service
News Alerts is an internal service operated by Data Airflow ("we", "us") at alerts.dataairflow.net. It scans public news sources for topics chosen by each participating organization, produces summarized briefings, and delivers them by email and SMS to registered members. By using an account, or by receiving briefings, you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Accounts are created by a Data Airflow administrator for employees, contractors, and business partners of Data Airflow and affiliated organizations. You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. SMS program terms
- Program name: Data Airflow News Alerts.
- Description: Text-message notifications containing a summary of new industry news stories and a link to the full briefing page, sent to registered team members according to the schedule they choose.
- Message frequency: Typically one message per day, or one per week, depending on your preference. Frequency varies with your settings.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details.
- Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts. You can also turn SMS off in your account settings at alerts.dataairflow.net.
- Help: Reply HELP to any message, or email info@dataairflow.com.
- Consent: SMS is sent only to people who were registered by an administrator and agreed to receive briefings. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of any purchase.
- Carriers: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on carrier and device availability.
Your phone number is used only to deliver these messages and is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. Content
Briefings summarize articles published by third-party news outlets and link to the original sources. Summaries are generated automatically and may contain errors or omissions. They are provided for general awareness only and are not professional, financial, or legal advice. Rights in the underlying articles belong to their publishers.
5. Acceptable use
Use the service only for its intended purpose within your organization. Do not share your login, attempt to access other organizations' data, interfere with the service, or use it to send unsolicited messages.
6. Availability and changes
The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service or any briefing schedule at any time, and may update these terms by posting a revised version at this address.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Data Airflow is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service or reliance on any briefing.
